January 18, 2003 protest

A protester we encountered in Civic Center Plaza, wearing a really cool t-shirt from "fuckthewar.com."

"I enjoy long walks on the beach, hiking in Marin, romantic candlelight dinners, and smashing imperialism"

Homelanders for peace . . . homelanders against killing people for cheap oil . . homelanders against arrogant imperialist empires . . . pay attention, homelander . . . wake the fuck up, homelanders . . .

Another watercolor artist against the war.

Uncle Floss and RadGal, um, friend, 'n stuff, striking a pose for the nerve.com special antiwar feature, "Meeting your special someone at protests and demonstrations."

This was somehow related to the antiwar march and rally, but I can't recall the details now.

Day of the Dead (November, 2002)

This is a photo of an altar at a Day of the Dead exhibition. (If anyone knows the name of the artist, let me know so I can attribute it to him or her).

This is a photo of another installation at the same Day of the Dead exhibition. (Again, if anyone knows the name of the artist, let me know so I can attribute it to him or her).
